Journal Entry: A PS Family Wedding to Remember

Dear Virtuosi,

Some days are just unforgettable, and October 3rd, 2025, was definitely one of them.

Beth and Jacob’s wedding was more than a celebration—it was a vibrant, whimsical, and heartfelt reminder of the love and community that surrounds us here at Performance Studios. From the moment guests arrived at Dave Spicer’s family farm, there was magic in the air.

A Whimsical Celebration with Highland Charm

The ceremony, led by celebrant Joan Wilson-Jones (one of last year’s Unsung Heroes!), perfectly blended a fairy garden whimsy with a sprinkle of Scottish heritage. Guests embraced colourful outfits and kilts, adding their own personality to the day. Every corner of the celebration was playful, joyful, and full of charm, reflecting the unique style and spirit of Beth and Jacob.

Music, Games, and Memorable Moments

From a Bag Piper during the ceremony to live music flowing throughout the reception, the soundtrack of the day was unforgettable. Guests joined in yard games and tackled playful “tasks,” like our very own Lisa hilariously chopping up her chair with an axe! Laughter, dancing, and shared experiences made the day interactive, unforgettable, and bursting with joy.

The PS Family in Full Bloom

This wedding truly showcased the heart of Performance Studios. From bridesmaids traveling long distances (Miss Emma came all the way from Yeppoon!), to gifted wedding cakes from Stew and Lisa, and celebrating on Dave’s family farm, the day was a perfect example of our PS family in action. Beth and Jacob’s love story, rooted in PS, reminded us all how meaningful community, friendship, and support can be.

Virtuosi, this day wasn’t just a wedding—it was a celebration of family, love, and the joy of being part of something bigger.

We’re so grateful to be part of this journey with Beth, Jacob, and all the incredible people who make PS feel like home.

With love,

Performance Studios

Celebrating love, music, and family every day.
