At Performance Studios, the Elite Performance Teams (EPT) transform passionate singers into stage-ready, confident performers. Designed for driven, high-achieving vocalists, EPT combines advanced vocal coaching, ensemble training, live performance opportunities, and personalised mentorship — helping singers reach industry-level standards while staying true to their artistic identity.

Open to singers from all studios and vocal coaches, EPT creates opportunities, not competition. Students retain their primary teacher while gaining access to elite-level performance training, professional stage experience, and artist development.

We collaborate closely with other singing teachers and music schools to provide their students with advanced performance experiences that complement ongoing private lessons, ensuring every singer benefits without interrupting existing training.

  • Guaranteed Performance Opportunities

    EPT members perform regularly at Performance Studios showcases, community stages, and professional industry venues, including the EKKA, Eat Street, and the Carer’s Foundation’s annual Unsung Heroes Gala, among many others.

    These live performance opportunities provide singers with real-world stage experience, confidence in performance, and technical polish, allowing them to apply their skills in front of audiences and industry professionals.

  • Intensive Vocal & Performance Coaching

    EPT members receive weekly, intensive training designed to strengthen their vocal technique, artistic expression, and professional performance skills.

    Sessions include 1.5 hours of vocal workshop, covering advanced technique, stylistic versatility, and solo/ensemble exercises, plus 1.5 hours of elite performance training focused on ensemble work, show structure, and stage readiness.

    All coaching is delivered by the Performance Studios expert team, providing personalised guidance, feedback, and industry-level instruction to accelerate artistic growth and professional performance readiness.

  • Dance & Movement Training

    Each Saturday, EPT members participate in 1 hour of dance and movement training, designed to strengthen stage presence, confidence, and expressive performance skills.

    Movement sessions develop body awareness, coordination, and dynamic performance, helping singers integrate choreography seamlessly with their vocal performance.

    This training is essential for live shows, auditions, and professional stage preparation, ensuring singers perform with the poise and movement skills expected of industry-level professionals.

  • Artist Mentorship & Branding

    EPT members work one-on-one with mentors to define their unique artist identity, build professional confidence, and develop strategies for auditions, gigs, and recording projects.

    Mentorship covers performance mindset, personal branding, and industry navigation, helping singers establish a clear artistic vision and gain the skills needed to succeed in a competitive performance environment.

What Is EPT?

The Elite Performance Teams (EPT) are Performance Studios’ premier artist development program, designed for exceptional young singers ready to go beyond traditional lessons and perform at an industry-standard level.

Each year, a select group of vocalists is chosen to join our Junior and Senior teams. Members receive advanced training across voice, movement, stagecraft, and performance psychology, building confidence, consistency, and professional artistry both on and off the stage. EPT takes place on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Emerging Performance Team

  • The Emerging Performance Team is ideal for emerging vocalists who are ready to take the next step beyond solo lessons and explore performing as part of a professional ensemble.

    This team builds the foundations of strong ensemble performance, vocal confidence, and stage presence, all while nurturing creativity and connection with others.

    • Developing blend, harmony, and musical awareness in a group

    • Strengthening vocal technique, stamina, and control

    • Building movement confidence and expressive performance skills

    • Learning professionalism, teamwork, and performance discipline

    Junior EPT singers gain experience performing live throughout the year, representing Performance Studios at community events and showcases.

  • To maintain the high level of vocal training within our Elite Performance Teams, all members must be taking regular 1:1 singing lessons.

    Open to singers training with any coach or studio — the program complements their current training and builds additional opportunities

    If you’re not currently studying privately, we’d love to support you — lessons are available through Performance Studios to help you meet this prerequisite.

  • Junior EPT members are expected to:

    • Attend all weekly rehearsals and scheduled performances

    • Participate actively and respectfully in all team activities

    • Complete practice and preparation outside of scheduled sessions

    • Represent Performance Studios positively in all performances and events

  • Invest in Your Performance Growth
    The Elite Performance Teams provide over 4 hours of premium weekly training in vocal technique, ensemble work, stagecraft, movement, and artist development — all for just $120 per week.

    This comprehensive program includes:

    • Expert coaching from industry-level vocal and performance professionals

    • Weekly rehearsals and individual practice guidance

    • Performance opportunities and showcases throughout the year

    • Mentorship in professionalism, confidence, and artistic growth

    At only $120 per week for 4+ hours of intensive training, EPT delivers exceptional value for singers serious about taking their artistry to the next level.

Elite Performance Team

  • The Elite Performance Team is designed for advanced young singers preparing for professional careers or tertiary study in music and performance.

    This team focuses on refining artistry, technical mastery, and stagecraft through a balance of high-level coaching, performance experiences, and artist development training.

    • Advanced vocal technique, stamina, and dynamic control

    • Ensemble and solo performance excellence

    • Movement, stagecraft, and storytelling through performance

    • Brand identity, artist mindset, and industry preparation

    Senior EPT members perform at multiple public and studio events each year, gaining the confidence, polish, and professionalism of a working artist.

  • To maintain the high level of vocal training within our Elite Performance Teams, all members must be taking regular 1:1 singing lessons.

    Open to singers training with any coach or studio — the program complements their current training and builds additional opportunities
